Melo thinks Trick hasn't been focused on the tournament and is too distracted with his mind on the title match. Plus, The Wolf Dogs are on fire right now. Depending on the future plans for Bron Breakker, they might even retain the titles. Regardless, this match is bound to be a thrilling one.

SINGLES MATCH FOR THE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP: Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams
Heat Index = Hot Prediction: Ilja Dragunov wins.
After failing to win the Dusty Cup earlier in the night, Melo's frustration boils over, and he costs Trick the match. Dragunov retains the title. This sets up a potential grudge match between Trick and Melo, while Dragunov looks for a new challenger. Or, we might see a Triple Threat match for the title involving Trick, Melo, and Dragunov. Dragon Lee is an incredible talent, but he's not quite ready to take the NXT North American Championship from Oba Femi. Femi has been on a roll and has had a tremendous push. It's unlikely that WWE will just throw that all away and revert back to a previous status quo with Lee. This match might not be the most intense, but it's a chance to see two talented wrestlers in action.

Heat Index = Cold Prediction: The D'Angelo Family wins.
This feud has failed to capture much excitement. While it's commendable that they want to put a spotlight on Jaida Parker and Adriana Rizzo, it simply hasn't resonated with the audience. OTM has already lost a tag title attempt, and even if they were to win this match, a rematch wouldn't be particularly thrilling. Hopefully, The D'Angelo Family can put an end to this lackluster rivalry.

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH: Dijak vs. Joe Gacy
Heat Index = Lukewarm Prediction: Joe Gacy wins.
Despite its silliness, the new Joe Gacy character is starting to gain momentum. This No DQ match is all about him getting the victory. While Dijak is undoubtedly a formidable opponent, this isn't his match to win. Gacy will find a way to secure the win, and it will be interesting to see how his character continues to evolve.

The lineup for WWE NXT Vengeance Day isn't the most impressive, but it still has the potential to be an important show.
