Fractures: Firewall is an exciting multiplayer event in Halo Infinite, taking place during Season 03: Echoes Within. This event is set in the Firewall Fractures universe, providing a captivating glimpse into the events inside the Created-controlled territory after Cortana's defeat at Installation 07 in late 2559.
A Unique Universe and Captivating Lore
Unlike other Fractures that exist in alternate universes, Firewall takes place in the canonical Halo universe. It offers a rare opportunity to explore what transpires within the Created-controlled territory. With Cortana gone, the Created face an uncertain future, leading to the emergence of various collectives called assemblies. Each assembly has its own vision for the future of infolife, ranging from making peace with humans to continuing the Created uprising.
Among these assemblies, High Auxiliary Sloan, Cortana's second-in-command, assumes leadership and initiates a contingency plan known as the FIREWALL agendum. This plan aims to accelerate the fusion of organic and digital life through the creation of physical cybernetic vessels called Executors. Sloan conducts an experiment using a captive human survivor of the Fall of Reach, who also discovered the original Assembly. This survivor becomes the first Executor, a compliant servant with a semblance of individuality but susceptible to direct control by an infomorph.
The FIREWALL agendum designs equipment for the Executors, including the innovative Chimera armor. This armor combines Forerunner armiger technology with the iconic MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor. Executors are assigned various roles, such as policing captive human populations, assassinating rivals, extracting data, assaulting rebel enclaves, waging war against other assemblies, terminating aberrant Executors, and defending Created territory from human incursions. Each role is matched with a specific Chimera loadout or accessory to optimize the Executor's effectiveness. Executors have a limited operational lifespan and may be terminated to make way for new iterations, with particularly valuable Executors self-destructing when in danger of capture by hostile forces.

Fractures: Firewall features a 20-tier Event Pass, allowing players to progress and unlock exciting items by completing ten event challenges over the two-week duration of the event.
