When it comes to managing your event, the Event Details section is the first thing you'll see in the Experience Manager. It's where you can view or edit the basic information about your event, including the Event Name, Event Code, Language, Event Description, and Event Website.

The Basics

Event Name

This field will automatically display the name provided when we set up your account. However, you can edit this field to rename your event. The event name will appear in places like the loading screen and the application menu sidebar.

Event Code

The Event Code is the last part of the URL link that will be used to access your event website. It follows the format eventmobi.com/EventCode. Your event code is a unique identifier that appears after the EventMobi domain. If you wish to change your Event Code, you will need to contact support to process this request.

Event Language

The language you select in this field will determine the pre-set text fields for that language (e.g., login page text). Any customizable fields, such as session names, will not be translated. You can also add secondary event languages, allowing attendees to change the language on the Event Space page. All of your event content (except for pre-set text) will need to be written in both languages.

Event Description

This is where you can include a short description of your event. It will appear in the same location as your event website, under the "About" section in the "Event Info."

Event Website

You can choose to link to your event website or your company's website within your event app. The event website will appear in the "About" section of the "Event Info."

Event Icon

This is where you can upload the Event Icon. Supported formats are .JPG, .JPEG, and .PNG, with a maximum file size of 24 MB. We recommend an image size of at least 1024x1024 pixels. This icon will be displayed on login screens and browser tabs related to your event.

Email

This section will determine which email address will be displayed for automatically generated emails, such as notification emails, as well as where questions sent to your Help Center mailbox will be forwarded.

Choose an Email to Send From

The default option provided will be a single email address created specifically for your event, following the format (EventCode)@event-emails.com. Alternatively, you can use a Custom Email Address by selecting this radio option and entering the email address you want to display as the sender for these notifications.

Event Support Email

The Event Support Email field is where you want to include the email address that will receive any incoming inquiries from your attendees. These inquiries will be sent through the event's Info Center in the application's Help Center area.

Event Dates

Event Start Date

This is the date your event will begin. Once the event starts, this date cannot be edited.

Event End Date

This is the date your event will end. Once the event ends, this date cannot be edited. The maximum duration for an event is 7 days.

Event Timezone

By default, your timezone will be set to Eastern Time. Timezones are presented in GMT format, and once you change it, the displayed time within the app will reflect this timezone. (Note: The event space will appear in the event's timezone unless the default timezone is switched off in the Experience Manager settings. The event timezone will determine when email notifications are sent from the platform to your attendees. Attendees can also adjust the event space timezone in the Options section of the right-side menu in their Event Space.)

Time Format

You can switch the time format in your app to display in either 12 or 24-hour format.

Event Location

Event Venue Name

This is the name of the venue where your event will take place. This detail will be included anywhere your event venue name is referenced, such as under the search bar in the menu items.

Event Venue Address

This is the address of the venue where your event will take place.
