Creating the Paper Flower Panels

The paper flower backdrop may seem like a daunting task, but fear not! I've designed it to be manageable for storage and moving. The assembly uses 20" x 16" foam panels, which act as puzzle pieces, allowing you to build one flower into a wall of hundreds. To attach the flowers to the panels, we'll use 3M Command Strips for hanging posters.

Even the heaviest panel weighs just over 2 lbs, so they're not too difficult to carry. Plus, I've even found rolling storage containers that fit them perfectly!

Displaying Your Paper Flower Backdrop

Now that you've created your stunning paper flower backdrop, it's time to decide how to display it. The great thing about these backdrops is that they can be appreciated in many different settings. If you're making a few or creating a semi-permanent installation, you can simply stick them directly to a wall. Just be careful not to damage the paint!

For event photos, I'll also show you how to assemble free-standing frames. Depending on your needs, you can choose between a fast PVC backdrop frame or a sturdier wooden version. Check out my DIY Backdrop Stand tutorial for detailed instructions.
