How To Make a Loop Yarn Pumpkin Wreath

Creating this wreath is super easy and will only take about an hour. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

Step 1: Wrap Yarn Around Wreath Form

Start by cutting open the last loop of the loop yarn to create a tail. Tie the tail around the wreath form (it doesn't matter where) as it will be hidden later. Begin wrapping the loop yarn around the wreath form, pushing the ball of yarn through the wreath every time you wrap. Make sure to push the yarn on the wreath form together so that it is completely covered.

Step 2: Fluff the Wreath

Continue wrapping the yarn around the wreath until the form is completely covered. Use most of the loop yarn ball for this step. Cut off any excess yarn and create a tail by cutting open the last loop. Tie the tail at the back of the wreath to secure it.

To give your wreath a full and fluffy look, push the loops from the back to the front, making them more prominent. While this step is optional, it significantly enhances the final appearance of the wreath. Take a few minutes to tug on the loops from the front to achieve the desired fluffiness.

Step 3: Make a Stem

Step 4: Make a Green Bow

Finish off your pumpkin wreath with a beautiful green bow made from the Dollar Tree burlap ribbon. Cut pieces of the ribbon in varying lengths, overlap the ends to create loops, and stack them on top of each other. Add another piece of ribbon for the tails and secure all the loops and tails together using a shorter piece of ribbon across the center. You can use hot glue or floral wire to attach the bow to the wreath.
