A Star-Studded Affair

This year, we have the privilege of having award-winning Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn as the 2022 WSOP Master of Ceremonies. Known for his roles in "Wedding Crashers" and "Old School," Vaughn is thrilled to be a part of this historic event. He expressed his honor, saying, "Poker has long been one of my favorite sports, so to be a part of something as historic as the WSOP finally moving to the Strip is an absolute dream."

New Venue, New Experience

The 2022 WSOP will be held at the Bally's and Paris Las Vegas Hotels & Casinos in Nevada. After 17 years at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino, the move to the new Strip location promises a fresh experience for players. The properties are conveniently connected to the wider Las Vegas Monorail, making it easier for participants to travel between casinos and other popular destinations on the Strip, including Caesars Palace and MGM Grand.

Registration Made Easy

The World Series of Poker is yet to confirm all the details on how players can enter events at the 2022 WSOP in Las Vegas. However, based on last year's process, players can expect a similar registration experience. Online and in-person registration will be available 24/7 in the weeks leading up to the first event. Participants will need to bring a valid photo ID and their Caesars Rewards Loyalty card during registration.

International players should ensure they also bring an additional form of identification that shows their residential address, such as a signed Las Vegas lease agreement, a utility bill, or a mobile phone bill. Various payment options, including cash, credit/debit cards, ACH, wire transfers/cashier's checks, and tournament buy-in chips, are accepted.
